The Federal Reserve is meeting this week on Wednesday and from a seasonal bias the S&P 500 tends to gain heading into that event. Expectations are increasing that the Federal Reserve will signal peak interest rates so could this mean an increase in US stock prices from here on in? This can certainly stimulate stock buying, but we have to be aware that there are significant geopolitical risks circulating right now. The major one is obviously in the Middle East with the prospect of Iran getting involved in the conflict.
Major Trade Risks:
The major trade risk here is if geo-political risk escalates with Iran entering the Middle East conflict which should weigh on the S&P500.
Remember donβt just trade it, Seasonax it!
